Since 2022

We fund doula organizations and provide scholarships worldwide.

We're creating a world where all families are supported and loved during transitional times. Because we're wired for connection—we're not meant to birth or grieve alone.

Our Values

We’re
driven by:

Community

Connecting to community—however big or small— is vital for mental and physical wellbeing. We believe in leaning on each other in times of need, and stepping into a role of support when the situation calls for it. Our organization is empowered by meaningful relationships with our grantee partners, sponsors, and individuals who share their time and resources. We celebrate the diversity in members' voices and perspectives, recognizing that our differences are our strength.

Sustainability

We recognize the importance of pouring from a full cup and having infrastructure that can weather a storm (or ten). We make decisions with long term goals in mind, so that when we run into obstacles, we have the bandwidth to persevere.

Justice

All individuals deserve to be treated with compassion and respect, regardless of their background. We strive to dismantle systemic barriers and work towards a more inclusive and compassionate world. We advocate for the right of every human being to be treated with fairness and dignity.

   Our
WHY

Our Perspective

We believe that social support offers an opportunity for healing, growth, and transformation.

Historically during the sacred times around birth and death, there was a village of love and support surrounding the family. The mother was cared for so that she could in turn care for her baby. There were community members to help take care of practical and spiritual aspects involved when a soul moved on from this world. In the absence of the traditional village, many families today face overwhelm and isolation. Research shows that a lack of social support can have drastic consequences affecting the entire family for years to come including depression, anxiety, and difficulty in bonding. This is a public health issue.

Social support during these transformational times can not only prevent adverse health outcomes, saving time and money, but also promote healing and well-being for families and future generations.

Our Focus Areas

We provide financial support for doulas.

Through financial aid for organizations, scholarships for aspiring doulas, and funding for research, we strengthen the network of care during life’s greatest transitions.
